Beneficiary assessment
Each proposed recipient is assessed confidentially. Cancer diagnosis alone does not establish eligibility.
Permitted use
CFC considers both the beneficiary and the proposed expenditure. Capital projects, general overheads and unrestricted organisational costs are not automatically funded from Zakaah.
Separate records
Designated gifts and approved allocations are recorded so they can be reconciled and reported responsibly.
When Zakaah cannot be used
CFC may contact the donor, retain the designation for a future eligible allocation, or explain whether Sadaqah or Lillah would be more suitable.
Scholarly oversight
CFC will publish the formal policy, appointed advisers and the scope of their oversight only after these have been confirmed. This page does not claim completed independent verification.
