Applications are assessed according to need, available funding, documentation and whether CFC can safely facilitate the requested support. Assistance is not guaranteed and CFC does not replace medical advice or emergency services.
- Patient identification and contact details
- Medical referral or supporting clinical documentation
- Description and quotation for the support required
- Relevant financial or social-work information
- Consent to verify the request with providers
CFC does not cover medical-aid co-payments, benefit shortfalls, excesses, depleted medical-aid benefits, or the cost of cancer-related drugs and medication. Our limited funding is reserved for approved support services where no suitable medical-aid or alternative funding pathway is available.
